Issue 1 andthis issue focus' on the shareware industry. It
provides a complete summary of Steve Hudgik's 1992 vendor and
author surveys, which includes comments from authors and vendors
telling each other how to improve what they do. Also includes
a section on vendor comments concerning the ASP. And this issue
introduces the Shareware Business Index.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2 or compatible with 320K
of memory and DOS ver. 3.0 or higher. A hard disk is recommended,
however it will run on a floppy disk with 800K of space available.
VGA graphics capability is required to see graphics screens, but
the HSBJ can be read using any type of video screen.

VENDOR DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS:
The HSBJ may be distrubted by anyone provided they meet the
following terms of distribution:
1. The files on each disk may not be modified or adapted in any way.
All of the files provided on the disk must be distributed together.
2. Individual files or groups of files may not be sold separately.
Additional files may be added to disks containing the HSBJ, however
this software/magazine may not be integrated into or included as a part
of any other software.
3. Individual copies of this software/magazine may not be sold for
more than $5.
4. The HSBJ may not be represented as anything other than
shareware and the shareware concept must be explained in any ad or
catalog that quotes a price and on any packaging used to display
the disk. The explanation of the shareware concept must make it
clear that with shareware an addition registration fee is required,
if users continue to use the software.
5. Neither the HSBJ, nor its contents, may be implied or represented as
having been published, written, compiled, or created by anyone other
than HomeCraft, H.C.P. Services, Inc. and/or Steven Hudgik.
5. You must stop selling/distributing copies of this disk upon notice
from the author or HCP Services, Inc.
